FOG Based North Seeker

The NF1500 north finder integrates a high-performance fiber optic gyroscope, MEMS gyroscope, and accelerometer. After precise factory calibration, it features high accuracy, light weight, stability, and reliability, making it suitable for portable attitude measurement, construction machinery, and other fields.

The north finder NF1700 is primarily used for quickly and autonomously determining the true north direction, calculating and outputting the heading angle (the angle relative to true north). The north finder is an electromechanical integrated product, consisting of a fiber optic gyroscope, accelerometer, mechanical rotation control device, embedded computer, and mounting base. The north finder is an inertial measurement system that utilizes the gyro principle to measure the projection direction of the Earth's rotation angular rate on the local horizontal plane (i.e., the true north direction).

NF3700 is used to measure the relative angular velocity, linear acceleration signal and velocity of the carrier in inertial space, as well as the signal of height, position and attitude. This manual is applicable to the daily use and maintenance of NF3700 attitude instrument.

The NF2000 consists of fiber optic gyroscope, accelerometer, mechanical indexing platform, indexing motor, positioning locking motor and mechanism, base, outer cover, control calculation board, LED display screen, power supply, power communication interface, panel buttons, supporting connectors and cables, etc. The product is mainly used for azimuth reference measurement of ground equipment.

  NF7000-A series is the north finder which is used for ship borne orientation and there is no external reference input, making the environment very complex. The satellite (GPS or Beidou) north finder is not suitable for this situation. And shipborne navigation requires precise navigation in three-dimensional space. When sailing at sea, the ship is affected by various factors such as wind, waves, and ocean currents, and faces multidimensional movements including roll, pitch, and yaw, resulting in significant sway and angular motion of the hull.    

NF3000 series is based on high-precision fiber optic gyroscope and quartz accelerometer as core components, mainly composed of inertial measurement unit, data acquisition and processing unit, precision indexing mechanism, and control display unit. At the same time, according to the usage characteristics, GPS/GNSS/BD receiver, odometer sensor, altimeter, star sensor and other components can be added to provide the azimuth angle between the carrier and true north, as well as the motion attitude, velocity and position information of the carrier.
